Donna Dexter Dyer, 68, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, September 21, 2011. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland, daughter of the Walter and Dorothy Dexter. She lived in Savannah for 45 years and was retired from Inchcape Shipping and a communicant of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. Her husband, Joseph Francis Dyer, II preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph Francis Dyer, III and Cathy Dyer of Savannah; Patrick Dexter Dyer and Michelle Dyer of Bluffton; grandchildren, Jacqueline Anne Dyer and Meagan Rene Dyer both of Savannah; Joshua Patrick Dyer and Katelyn Amanda Dyer both of Bluffton.
Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 23, 2011 in the Islands Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors with a Christian Wake Service at 6:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial: 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 24, 2011 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.
Burial: Catholic Cemetery.
